Key Responsibilities The BDM will be responsible for end‑to‑end business planning, market penetration, and revenue growth for a core Chinese vendor solution portfolio. Strategic Business Planning: Assist in the comprehensive business planning for the assigned Chinese vendor's portfolio and be fully accountable for achieving related business growth targets in the Hong Kong market. Market Intelligence & Insight: Provide continuous, actionable market intelligence, including in‑depth analysis of customer information, emerging needs, competitor movements, and technology trends/best practices for new business development. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal product teams, sales teams, and the vendor partnership managers to identify, qualify, and develop new market opportunities. Sales Enablement & Closure: Actively facilitate case closing processes, assist the sales team with complex deal negotiations, and accelerate the adoption of related data networking and IT solutions among target customers. Business Execution: Drive the formulation and implementation of structured business development plans to achieve long‑term market expansion and recurring revenue. Required Experience and Skills We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical and commercial foundation in the ICT sector. Academic Background: University Degree holder or equivalent, preferably in Information Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration. Industry Experience: A minimum of 4 years’ working experience in the ICT industry is essential. Specialized Experience: At least 2 years in a dedicated data networking or business development focused role is required. Vendor & Market Knowledge (Crucial): Direct experience working with major Chinese ICT vendors and a strong understanding of their product ecosystems (e.g., networking, cloud, security, server solutions). Customer‑Facing Sales: Proven hands‑on experience in customer‑facing roles across the full sales lifecycle, including negotiation and presentation. Commercial Acumen: Self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional with excellent business acumen and strong analytic skills to identify profit drivers. Communication & Language: Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Language Proficiency: High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory for vendor and client interaction. Why Join?
