Overview Position Overview: The Mid Market Accounts (MMA) Territory Account Sales Executive is responsible for expanding new businesses and renewals in key accounts to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sale, and cross-selling. This position reports to an Industry Sales Manager and will work closely with our Inside Sales Team, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales. Responsibilities Generate new business by creatively expanding existing accounts Proactively own renewals in key accounts Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account, including evaluating customer profiles, creating value messaging, and targeting key steps to execute account plans Develop important relationships within the account including executives and translate customer challenges into unique business value Ensure the Autodesk team delivers business value to the account, builds and executes account plans, maintains pipeline, and moves Autodesk from vendor to trusted advisor Manage accounts through the full sales process; outside field sales at customer locations for business development, prospecting, specifications, contract negotiations, and post-sales support Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts Partner with channel partners to understand their business, drive new revenue, and expand partner relationships Provide regular customer feedback to product, industry, and marketing teams to help identify strengths and areas for improvement Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within targeted accounts, with focus on C-level and enterprise negotiations Sell complex service engagements and explore alternative solutions when needed Be a trusted adviser for customers and identify win/win situations Help customers and the company develop success reference stories Solve complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of factors and broad perspective Work independently with guidance in only the most complex cases Collaborate across teams; lead or coordinate efforts as needed Responsible for selling Autodesk products or services, developing new accounts and expanding existing ones; leadership role with large, high-visibility accounts Minimum Qualifications You have at least 10+ years of experience in transactional SaaS sales You are results-driven with a track record of exceeding quota You are analytical, detail-driven and a master multitasker You are entrepreneurial and thrive in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Specialized knowledge with a proven record of success in sales; recognized as an expert in the field May take on a leadership role; broad experience and ability to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively Possesses expert-level knowledge of Autodesk products and services and may introduce new products to customers and teams Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk Amazing things are created every day with our software – from the greenest buildings and cleanest cars to the smartest factories and biggest hit movies.
