Assistant Manager – Revenue Assurance

We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Revenue Assurance in our Revenue Assurance Section under Billing & Collections Branch. This role is critical to safeguarding the Company’s revenue by leveraging data analytics and cross‑functional collaboration to detect and prevent meter tampering and irregularities. Major Duties Design, develop, and maintain robust revenue assurance programs to effectively monitor, identify and address meter tampering and irregularities. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from Metering, Digital, Data, Customer Experience to ensure alignment and execution of revenue assurance initiatives. Utilize and apply data analytics in examining account information, meter details, consumption patterns, load profiles, and other relevant data to identify root causes of anomalies and enhance the effectiveness of revenue assurance strategies. Conduct revenue loss assessments, lead discussions and negotiations with customers on disputed consumption, meter irregularities, revenue recovery, and assist in legal proceedings when required. Provide regular updates to senior management on operational insights and translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify and implement opportunities for improvements on work processes, internal systems, and procedures, aligning with best practices in technology adoption and process optimization. Manage and mentor analysts to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Lead and support ad‑hoc and cross‑functional projects or tasks as assigned. Requirements A recognized university degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline, with 6‑8 years of relevant working experience. Strong knowledge in meter‑to‑cash operations and proven experience in customer communication. Strong numerical sense and excellent analytical skill with knowledge of analytic and visualization tools such as Python, Power BI. Prior experience in leading a team will be an advantage. Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills to effectively engage internal stakeholders and external customers. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred. Candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
