In this role you will: Revenue Optimization: Identify and unlock new monetization opportunities within conversational banking channels. Leverage technology and data to increase revenue per conversation and expand the profitability of chat-based interactions Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Embed compliance and risk controls into all revenue-driven conversations, ensuring adherence to banking regulations Customer Trust & Value Creation: Elevate customer trust through transparent, value-first AI experiences. Position chatbots as trusted advisors that enhance customer loyalty and lifetime value Establish chat (bot and human-assisted) as one of a core digital sales channel, driving conversions and customer acquisition Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to align chat monetization strategies with business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements in conversational revenue generation To be successful you will need: Proven track record of driving revenue via Distribution channels (e.g. Conversational banking, chatbots, apps, messaging) Experience with banking products (e.g., deposits, loans, cards, investments) and associated regulations Good understanding of digital technologies and physical distribution channels Proven experience designing and launching revenue-generating chatbot/chat flows in banking Ability to drive change and innovation with respect to costs, revenue and service, previous experience in demand reduction initiatives is desirable Strong understanding of culture and experience positively driving culture Clear understanding of metrics and ability to drive outcomes consistently Strong leadership / interpersonal skills and can communicate and influence at all levels of the organization Opening up a world of opportunity HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
