Senior Associate, OTC Department

Responsibilities Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of OTC derivatives trade settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Support daily reconciliation and verification of trading transactions, including trade booking and data integrity checks. Collaborate closely with the trading desk to execute fund transfers, securities transfers, and other related operations as per instructions. Regularly update client positions to reflect margin requirements derived from OTC derivatives trading. Perform daily trade booking and position reconciliation to ensure data consistency. Coordinate with custodians and third‑party service providers to manage external matters such as margin calls and position reconciliations. Participate in system enhancement User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to improve operational workflows and software functionality. Ensure all settlement activities are compliant with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support team objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher from reputable universities in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related disciplines. Prior experience in OTC derivatives trading and booking is preferred. Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, C#, Java) with familiarity in SQL.
