We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Investment Specialist, Alternative Credit, Asia .
Principal ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Investment Specialist will serve as the key ambassador for our global Alternative Credit capabilities to clients across Asia. This role combines deep product expertise with strategic business development responsibilities, working in close partnership with regional Sales teams to articulate and distribute our global Alternative Credit strategies to Asian investors.
- Drive AuM growth in Asia across our global Alternative Credit platform through effective product representation and close collaboration with regional Sales teams.
- Lead product expertise and coverage of global Alternative Credit strategies in Asia, serving as the primary knowledge centre for Direct Lending, Infrastructure Debt, Securitised Credit, and Capital Solutions products.
- Champion new product initiatives by providing crucial market intelligence and supporting product development teams.
- Enhance the firm's reputation in Asia by representing our Alternative Credit capabilities at industry conferences, client events, and through thought leadership content.
- Support fundraising activities through the development and delivery of compelling client presentations, creation and maintenance of marketing materials, and management of due diligence questionnaires in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Drive product strategy by identifying market opportunities and product gaps in the Asian market, contributing to structuring decisions for new funds and mandates, and providing input on product documentation.
- Strengthen internal collaboration by acting as a bridge between global investment teams and Asian stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging across all Alternative Credit strategies.
- Drive strategic business growth in Asia by identifying market opportunities and developing initiatives to expand the Alternative Credit platform across different investor segments.
- Lead by example in fostering strong relationships between global investment teams and regional stakeholders.
- Influence without direct authority by gaining trust and credibility with both investment teams and sales teams.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams and geographies, working effectively across different time zones and cultures.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple time zones, requiring exceptional coordination skills and the ability to influence across cultural and geographical boundaries.
- Articulate sophisticated investment strategies to diverse audiences, from highly technical investment professionals to generalist investors new to alternative credit.
- Balance competing demands from multiple teams and stakeholders while maintaining high quality standards and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
- Build credibility and trust with sophisticated institutional investors in a market where alternative credit investments are still evolving.
- Navigate the launch of new strategies while simultaneously supporting existing products, requiring careful prioritisation.
- Stay current with rapidly evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics across multiple alternative credit strategies.
- Support global investment capabilities while adapting messaging and approach to meet local market preferences and requirements.
