Job Description

Join our passionate Programmes and Services team at KELY Support Group and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Hong Kong. As Senior Manager, you will be a key member of KELY’s leadership team and will spearhead our efforts in managing, developing, and strategically directing programmes and services that address critical issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, and mental health, with a focus on both Chinese and non-Chinese youth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Strategize, coordinate, and lead programmes and services within KELY's core focus areas.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to the Programmes and Services team, ensuring they work towards a common goal and are motivated and high performing.
  • Programme Delivery: Ensure all programmes and services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Programme Development: Design and develop new initiatives and enhance existing programmes targeting drug and alcohol abuse, and promoting mental health.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of Programmes and Services, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement: Support and participate in organization-wide events.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and/or analysis to stay informed of the latest trends and best practices.
  • Adaptive Performance: Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Degree holder in Social Science, Public Health, Social Work, or related discipline; a master’s degree is highly regarded.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in local NGO setting, with a focus on developing and managing youth programmes.
  • Financial Skills: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Profound understanding of mental health and drug and alcohol issues.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and critical analysis skills.
  • Facilitation Skills: Experienced in delivering workshops and training programmes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese/Chinese.
