The Media Cluster in WPP Enterprise Technology are the technology solutions partner for the WPP Media group of agencies and are accountable for coordinating and assuring end-to-end change delivery, managing the WPP Media technology life cycle and innovation pipeline. We're looking for the next generation of technology leaders. You'll be bright, energetic, and engaging by nature. You'll lead the technology transformation activities in your market, working with both business and technology stakeholders on the engagement and delivery of the wider WPP Enterprise Technology portfolio projects and programmes within the market. You'll have a similar role in another company or be ready to step up into this role because your experience means you're ready for the challenge of leading a market’s technology transformation activities for the world's largest media buying company. What you’ll be doing: You’ll liaise with the Media Cluster’s teams, the agencies, the WPP Enterprise Technology portfolio lead and the Enablement Lead of South Asia to manage the engagement and delivery of the wider WPP Enterprise Technology portfolio projects and programmes within the local market. You’ll act as a point of escalation for the local businesses supporting the Enterprise Technology projects delivery and re-routing any service or system challenge via the teams within Media Cluster You will maintain a lens on the value and commercial impact of both proposals and the reality of WPP Enterprise Technology activity and plans as it relates to the market. You will work with stakeholders across the market and WPP Enterprise Technology strategic programmes, to proactively ensure delivery and to secure the engagement required to realise the value of the Media Cluster portfolio within the market. You’ll have outstanding people skills, be a clear communicator and know when the right approach is to be pragmatic. You’ll be passionate about delivering for our staff and customers, taking a considered approach around when to agree tactical technology fixes. Where needed, you’ll support the development of local systems, with an eye to them scaling for greater benefit around WPP Media. Assist the market Enablement Lead to capture and shape business demand for new or changed systems and services in the local market – ensuring their needs are considered and proposals are shaped, sized, aligned and prioritised Act as a point of escalation and un-blocker for local business context – supporting Enterprise Technology project delivery, technical decisions, etc. Work with local stakeholders and WPP Enterprise Technology strategic programmes, to proactively ensure delivery – and to secure the engagement required to realise the value of the WPP Media portfolio Assist the market Enablement Lead to develop and maintain a view of local stakeholder alignment; delivery challenges; local Agency business risks and strategies, and in-flight initiatives – able to engage readily in ongoing planning and roadmap discussions with the WPP Media Portfolio Lead, Architecture and strategic programmes Assist the market Enablement Lead to collate and manage a transparent plan to support visibility and focus on interdependencies, delivery risks and assumptions for all Strategy & Transformation work in the local market What you’ll need: Significant stakeholder relationship management and planning capability Significant knowledge of change management and business adoption of digital solutions Developing data-driven insights, analysis and strategic advice Developing project plans, budgeting and investment cases, and value realisation activity Significant media and advertising business knowledge and experience Experience of developing business or functional project plans and market roadmaps A tertiary degree in Computing or a similar discipline Fluent English oral and written communication skills Who you are: You’re open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
