Business Development Manager (Banking & Insurance Solution) About OneConnect Financial Technology OneConnect Financial Technology Co. The Hong Kong presence focuses on Greater Bay Area business, technology, and data integration, offering services to 100% of retail banks and anti‑fraud capabilities to over 50% of traditional retail banks in HK. Role Overview Sell business application solutions and technology services to retail banking, commercial banking, and life insurance. Exercise consultative selling on digital innovation to retail banking, business banking, or life insurance. Oversee the entire sales process: relationship cultivation, opportunity acquisition, qualification, pre‑sales, deal closing, and contract negotiation. Lead complex solution crafting including presentation, business proposal, RFP response, and POC. Build relationships with senior‑level business management (CEO, MD, GM, etc.) of banks and insurers. Acquire external partnerships for technology providers to complement our solution/services offering. Maintain knowledge of regulators and GBA cross‑boundary data and finance policy regulation. Achieve assigned financial targets. Requirements University graduate with well‑written and verbal proficiency in Cantonese , English, and Mandarin. Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience. Preferred experience selling business application solutions/services to banks or insurers. Proactive, result‑driven, self‑motivated, passionate, and willing to learn new technology/business/regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior‑level executives. Knowledge of anti‑deepfake, digital onboarding, anti‑fraud, and wealth management is a plus. Knowledge of Agentic AI, contact center, MCV client acquisition, and agent’s transformation is a plus.
