Job Responsibilities Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, and databases. Design, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery system infrastructures. Oversee all aspects of system and database administration. Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, tuning, and optimisation of database systems. Conduct SQL design and tuning, as well as identify and resolve database‑related issues. Plan, design, and operate multiple enterprise‑level database servers. Assist with database implementation, data migration, replication, and backup/restore activities. Collaborate with security and system teams to resolve issues related to performance, security, and system stability. Document SQL environments and maintain comprehensive operational procedures. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field. Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, and server database administration. Proven experience supporting business‑critical production environments as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA. Strong knowledge of database high availability solutions including MS SQL Failover Clustering, Always‑On Availability Groups, and Log Shipping. Proficiency in scripting and scheduling using Windows and Linux batch scripting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment. Willingness to provide off‑hours and on‑call support as required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
