Participate in technical design and implementation of database for a large-scale mission critical web application system. Database performance tuning, monitoring and administration. Support on data analysis and modelling, database definitions and design. Prepare and handle System documentation. Arrange technical training for related stakeholders. Requirements: Degree holder in Computer Science, or related disciplines At least 14 years of IT working experiences, among them 8 years or above of experiences in database administration and/or database design. Conversant with Oracle Database (19c or above), Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC) configuration, tuning and administration in Linux platform. Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases. Proficient in database schema design, normalization, and indexing; able to create and manage data models and ER diagrams. Skillful in optimizing database performance, including query optimization and indexing strategies, and troubleshooting database issues using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager. Good communication skills including speaking in both Cantonese and Mandarin and documentation in English; comfortable to collaborate with others working as a team. Advantageous if with exposures to Oracle GoldenGate and/or Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall. Knowledge of database security practices, including user management, encryption, and access control. A valid certification of Oracle Database Administrator (19c or above) will be advantage.
