Technical (Fit) & Quality Assurance Manager - Apparel Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client is seeking a highly experienced Apparel Technical (Fit) & Quality Assurance Manager to lead technical development, fit processes, and quality assurance across diverse apparel categories including lifestyle, causals sports, outdoor and performance wear. This senior role ensures garments meet brand DNA, customer expectations, and global compliance standards, while driving innovation in construction techniques, materials, and technologies. What you'll be doing Fit & Technical Development Lead the technical development and fit process across apparel categories, ensuring alignment with brand DNA, cost objectives, and consumer expectations Supervise fit sessions and the approval of technical packs, ensuring consistent workmanship standards from prototype to bulk production. Spearhead the development of new construction techniques, fabrics, and technologies to elevate product quality and performance Partner closely with Design, Product Development, and Sourcing teams to translate design intent into commercially viable, technically sound products Quality Assurance & Risk Management Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards and specifications across all product categories Drive garment product safety risk assessments, working with QA, Compliance, and Testing labs to identify hazards and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards Oversee physical and chemical testing protocols to validate product durability, safety, and compliance Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions to ensure efficiency and quality enhancement Maintain QA/QC SOPs, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence Conduct audits of QA processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions Work strategically with a network of premier vendors, building strong partnerships to drive continuous improvement and solve complex manufacturing challenges Act as a key technical contact for sourcing offices, vendors, and factories, providing clear technical packages, comments, and approvals Coach vendors on construction, risk assessment, and safety requirements, elevating technical capability and consistency across the supply base Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, ethical, and social audit standards Liaise with merchants and customers on sampling, technical, and quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are executed promptly Team & Process Management Manage and develop a team of technical specialists, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and strategic thinking Train and motivate QA teams and technicians to ensure quality standards are met and ownership is embedded Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data for management and stakeholders Meet financial objectives by preparing budgets and scheduling expenditures Stay updated on new QC techniques, digital fitting tools, and technologies What we're looking for Degree in Apparel Technology, Fashion Engineering, Textile Science, or related discipline Minimum 10 years of solid apparel Fit/ Technical/QA/ QC experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role Deep expertise in garment construction, fit, patternmaking, grading, and product safety risk assessment Proven experience in technical support and QA across all categories of apparel Strong familiarity with apparel categories , raw fabric materials and functional construction requirements Knowledge of 3D apparel design and fit software, such as Browzwear, Optitex, and Gerber Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and project management skills; proactive and detail‑oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Mandarin (Chinese language proficiency is a must) Flexibility to travel across China and Asia‑Pacific regions to oversee quality assurance What we offer 5-days work, competitive salary packages, will be offered to right candidates, interested parties, please email resume with your expected salary, latest salary and availability to to apply.
