Production/ Operations Manager (Apparel Manufacturing) - Station South East Asia About the role We are seeking an experienced Production/ Operations Manager for our clients, to oversee apparel manufacturing operations across the South East Asia factory stations - in China / Cambodia. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence. You will lead factory operations, manage budgets, and serve as the key liaison between production sites and the Hong Kong Office. What you'll be doing Oversee end‑to‑end apparel production operations, including sewing, washing, and finishing processes. Manage overall production office and factory operations, including administration and budget control. Develop and submit quarterly performance and progress reports to the Hong Kong Director. Lead production management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct regular visits to production sites to monitor status and resolve operational challenges. Provide technical support and ensure quality assurance across all factory processes. Set QA compliance objectives and ensure standards are met from sampling through to final production. Assess supplier and in‑house product specifications against customer requirements and international standards. Ensure compliance with client specifications and delivery expectations. Liaise effectively with merchants and customers on sampling, technical, and quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are executed promptly. What we're looking for Senior management experience with proven leadership in South East Asia factory operations. Proficiency in Cantonese and Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in apparel manufacturing and production site management. Strong expertise in production planning & control, engineering, and quality assurance. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and production follow‑up. Prior stationing experience in Asian countries with hands‑on management responsibilities. Strong command of English (written and spoken) and solid computer skills. Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering Management, or a related field. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage. Willingness to be stationed in South East Asia with regular travel required.
