Head of Sourcing and Manufacturing (Swimwear / Intimate Apparel) Our client is a global frontrunner in the lifestyle apparel industry, renowned for their exceptional quality and style. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing and manufacturing strategies for swimwear and lingerie, focusing on innovation, quality, and efficient time-to-market while leading and mentoring regional teams across various functions. Build and maintain relationships with top-tier factories and suppliers in Asia, explore capabilities in emerging markets, and negotiate favorable terms to ensure compliance and quality. Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to achieve manufacturability and cost targets, overseeing the fit and technical execution of garments to maintain high standards. Optimize production planning, lead times, and inventory flow to support seasonal programs while advocating for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure ethical and sustainable practices are adhered to by all sourcing partners, aligning with brand values and consumer expectations. Act as a strategic link between Asia operations and U.S. brand teams, providing regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Apparel, or a related field. Over 15 years of experience in apparel sourcing and manufacturing, including a minimum of 5 years in a management role. Deep understanding of U.S. retail and brand dynamics. Extensive knowledge of Asia-based supply chains and factory capabilities specifically for swimwear apparel. Strong technical understanding of swimwear and lingerie construction, materials, and fit standards. Proven leadership, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills. Familiarity with 3D sampling and PLM systems. Proactive, action-oriented approach with the ability to quickly find effective solutions. Passion for innovation, sustainability, and ethical sourcing practices. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment. Willingness to travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
