Business System Analyst

(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
The Business System Analyst is responsible for investigating system issues, designing solutions, documenting all project and system-related documentation, and supporting the maintenance of commercial applications. This role entails close collaboration with different departments and vendors to support system routines and ensure effective project implementation.
Responsibilities:- Provide system support, handle business user inquiries, and enable business users to perform business operations on commercial applications such as Ticketing, Venue and Event Management, and POS;
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to collect, analyse, and document business requirements;
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in the current commercial applications;
- Document the application/data flows for the systems to visualize the business processes;
- Liaise with IT technical teams, including architecture, infrastructure, integration and cybersecurity requirements and specifications;
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, validate proposed solutions, and resolve conflicts or ambiguities;
- Work with the vendors to design, develop and implement the solutions that fit the business requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
- Have at least 4 years of business analysis and project management experience;
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with relevant experience in revenue systems;
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions among vendors, IT technical teams, and stakeholders;
- Hands-on experience in the documentation of system flow, workflow and data diagrams;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear and concise requirements;
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies;
- Be proficient in written English and spoken Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
