Our client, a manufacturing company, is urgently looking for a Senior / System Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Support by project manager / team lead to coordinate with IT and business users for realization of system change and align deployment schedule.
- Lead / supervise a team of developers to develop internal systems/projects according to user requirements.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct SIT and support UAT to ensure the enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications.
- Provide day-to-day support on system applications.
- Explore new technologies and drive for innovation, especially new development tools, new algorithmic code, bring better solution for existing environment.
- Be self-independent and can work with minimal guidance.
- Assist ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Higher diploma or Degree in Computer Science / IT or related discipline.
- Min. 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years of experience in a team leading role.
- Familiar with C#, VB/VB.net, XML, EDI, API.
- Knowledge of EDI message standards (EDIFACT) is a plus.
- SQL and database knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, balancing competing priorities.
- Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibilities.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Good command of English and Chinese.
