Business Development and Sales Executive - Apparel & Trims Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Sales Executive to join their team, specializing in the apparel and trims category. In this role, you will drive new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and expand market presence. Key responsibilities Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new sales prospects through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors and market developments to inform sales strategies. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to establish profitable partnerships. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Prepare detailed sales reports and performance analytics for leadership review. What we’re looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development; experience in apparel & trims is preferred. Higher Diploma or above in Business, Marketing, Textile, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing complex B2B sales. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new accounts. Strong ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel as required to develop client relationships. Knowledge of trims (buttons, zippers, labels, packaging, etc.) and the apparel supply chain is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage. Fluent in English, with proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin essential.
