We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Insurance Platform and Solutions Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Work with HSBC Life on product as well as commercialization strategies and tactical campaigns with segment specific proposition, representing distributor’s needs
  • Drive strategic initiatives and development of insurance wealth proposition strategies with collaboration with internal and external counterparts, including but not limited to product development, proposition, sales journey streamlining etc
  • Manage sales analytics and data-driven insights to provide recommendations for performance improvement and capture sales opportunities, across GPB and retail segment
  • Oversee sales journey, process, and controls to manage distribution risks across retail and GPB. Collaborate with Distribution, HSBC Life and Second line of defense to ensure distribution risks are identified and effectively managed
  • Ensure the timely implementation of regulatory initiatives related to insurance distribution in a commercially viable manner whilst ensuring reputational risk impact is mitigated and/or minimised
  • Work with HSBC Life and accountable for insurance distribution training materials and frontline communications
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and over 8 years of experience in insurance products and sales strategy, preferably with exposure to the banking industry
  • Possesses strong strategic orientation, ability to think critically, and evaluate impacts of plans
  • Great sense of ownership and a client centric mindset to ensure efficient and effective stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Professional insurance knowledge required
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is beneficial but not essential
