KPMG is building out its leading Wealth & Asset Management Advisory Practice and is looking for a passionate and seasoned Manager with experience in this space. We work with top tier private banks and retail banks' wealth and asset management divisions on industry defining topics from 'Strategy-to-Results', including strategy, operations, regulatory, and technology. It is an exciting time to join us as our practice is expanding due to our unique propositions and strength of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Design and run workstreams or small projects with limited oversightSupport wealth & asset managers in market analysis, strategic reviews, transformation projects, including project management, business model review and design including implementationGenerate hypotheses and drive the storyboarding processProduce client ready deliverables that require limited reviewData and analytics review, including basic financial modellingDevelop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clientsLiaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an 'ambassador' for KPMGDevelop rapport and working relationships with junior clients and maintain them outside of engagementsBe a strong and effective team player
Experience & Background
4-8 years of relevant experience in any of the below:Consulting experience with leading strategy housesBig 4 experience with a focus on asset managementProduct Management role within an asset management firmRegulator experience, focused on asset managementDegree from a leading institutionStrong slide structuring and writing capabilitiesEvidence of project management/workstream leadershipKnowledge of wealth management operationsResearch skills, including market research and regulatory reviewProject experience in regulatory / operational / TOM-like projectsProject management certification and knowledge of Agile delivery will be an advantageAnalytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativityConfidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatismExcellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
