Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  Manager Partnerships (Cards & Unsecured Lending).

Principal Responsibilities

Formulate and implement credit card business strategies to deliver business targets Grow engagement with all customer segments and respective profitability Develop, grow and maintain partnership with retail and payments partners to drive sustainable Spend growth in a cost-effective manner on a day-to-day basis Innovate and commercialize new usage propositions and initiatives to drive up adoption and usage with external retail/ payments partners Build synergy with the wider Wealth & Personal Banking and other lines of business to drive win-win outcomes to all stakeholders Review and coordinate initiatives to optimize profits and reduce costs Keep track of credit card business performance and product profitability Ensure regulatory, compliance to Group standards and audit directives are met Requirements University degree holder, preferably majoring in Business Administration or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years working experience in credit cards, or other banking products management with good understanding about product profitability dynamics High degree of personal drive and resilience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with hands-on experience in internal or external partnerships development or management Able to work with stakeholders from various functions and disciplines to drive business outcomes Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with creative and critical thinking Strong understanding across different business units in Wealth and Personal Banking Good knowledge in compliances and regulatory requirements
