Senior Pre-approval and Claims Manager

Principal Responsibilities
Assist Line Manager to lead a sub-team of Pre-approval and Claims to deliver agreed service lead time to respective channel
Handle daily pre-approval and claim cases in an efficient, professional, and timely manner (meeting turn-around-time)
Closely monitor the production quality and act as an advisor to provide opinions and improvement recommendations to sub-ordinates on the daily activities
Effectively manage and coordinate with Product/Customer Service/Underwriting teams on new business end-to-end processes in order to achieve business target
Timely update required procedure to fulfill the compliance and/or regulatory requirements as well as conduct training as appropriate
Regularly review the process workflow and make recommendations to enhance the team's efficiency and productivity
Closely work with internal partners on assigned projects to achieve and implement the business initiatives effectively
Maintain good relationships with providers and hospitals
Monitor provider performance and review and negotiate the agreed feeYour Profile
Requirements:
University graduate in Nursing or other medical-related field
Minimum 5 - 7 years of work experience preferably with relevant working experience in customer service or the insurance field
Possessing LOMA qualifications or in progress of taking any LOMA courses would be a plus
Having a positive and mature attitude and being able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and every changing environment
Strong in medical knowledge with sound knowledge of medical insurance
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and positive
Good PC skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Good interpersonal and communication skills, and negotiation skill
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin preferable
Team player with a strong desire to succeed
