The appointee will join the new MSc Learning Hub (located in Kwun Tong central business district) of HKUST Business School to provide general administrative support. Duties include setting up venue and equipment for courses; providing on-site support to the classes and events (setting up AV and laptops, etc.); and providing general administrative, clerical and logistic support to the general office. The appointee will also handle and deliver mail and parcels and inquiries from faculty, guests, and students; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

The appointee will need to work on shift and occasionally on weekends and public holidays. Working outside normal office hours is required.

Applicants should have completed secondary school education or above, preferably with at least two years of relevant work experience. Experience in the education sector or customer service would be an advantage. The ideal candidate should have a service-oriented mindset; a strong sense of responsibility; good communication skills. Good computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, and Chinese typing); knowledge and/or experience in using basic AV equipment. Fluency in Cantonese with good spoken English and Putonghua are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
