OverviewAn exclusive role to recruit for a
Head of Financial Institutions
for a large established bank to provide strategic leadership and lead the FI Department to achieve business targets.Role ResponsibilitiesProvide effective leadership and guidance to the Financial Institutions Department and implement action plans for achieving business targets of the Department;Be responsible for maintaining and developing Correspondent Banking and Non-Bank F.I. relationships;Understand Correspondent Banks' transaction banking business needs to accommodate their specific needs and interests;Ensure the F.I. and Non-Bank FI credit portfolio are in strict compliance with the Bank's credit policies;Approve credit exposures of counterparties according to the delegated authority;Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to support their respective business needs in order to accomplish business targets for the Bank;Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at key FIs and regulators;Keep up-to-date with market competitive dynamics and industry conditions that impact opportunity and portfolio performance;Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.Requirements20 years' Corporate banking (FI) experience from leading international banks;Experience in motivating teams and managing people across borders, setting and achieving goals to drive a high performance culture;Preferably over 5 years experience in leading a team to achieve the business targets for the department;Strong knowledge in
FI correspondent banking / treasury / trade finance
