01/Jan/2025, 3:59:00 PMMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupporting to conduct the literature review for the research project;Collecting data for the research studies in this project under required discipline;Assisting the Principal Investigator/supervisors to prepare those research studies involved;Designing and documenting the research studies;Planning and Organising workshops and conferences on this topic;Preparing and supporting the research outcome deliverables; andConducting other ad-hoc research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator.Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:A Master’s degree or above in design/art or any related discipline (for Temporary Research Assistant I);A Bachelor’s degree in design/art/programming or any related discipline (for Temporary Research Assistant II);Strong ability and knowledge of Visual Design, preferred possess the understanding of ‘Design & Emotion’ and ‘Art-Technology’ and its application;Candidates who have intention to pursue a research postgraduate degree are preferable;Proof Record in academic paper publication to conference and or journal;Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of web design projects;Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and responsive design techniques;Strong organisational and planning skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and competent at computer skills (MS Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) as well as editing skills;Be self-motivated and meticulous; able to meet deadlines and work independently;Able to answer ad-hoc issues and changes in a patient and professional manner and plan workable schedules to meet different project phases;Able to handle emails and administrative documents professionally;Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines;Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and work independently;Excellent command of written English and Chinese.Terms and Conditions for Appointment
