Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a research project on a virtual reality-based mindfulness intervention program for patients with autoimmune arthritis. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:Conducting literature reviews on relevant topics;Coordinating the recruitment of subjects;Assisting in the implementation of interventions;Performing quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis;Providing assistance related to the project.CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in healthcare, psychology, statistics or related disciplines;Experience in mindfulness practice will be an advantage;Proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in SPSS will be an advantage;A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;A strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility;The ability to work independently and as part of a team.The appointee will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week.Terms and Conditions for AppointmentSuccessful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.
