Our group office is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to provide advice, guidelines, and technical support to ensure school operations are compliant with Harrow Standards, Group policies, and local and national regulatory requirements. The Senior Operations Manager will identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the Group Director of Operations to inform strategic objectives and monitor KPI fulfillment by Schools and Service Providers.The role supports the Group Director of Operations in building, monitoring, and approving (when required) set-up budgets for new schools and operation budgets for existing schools to ensure the budgets are utilized for their operational needs and successful outcomes.The Senior Operations Manager will partner with the Group Director of Operations, Associate Director of Operations, and Procurement Manager to monitor and introduce new skills/knowledge, guidelines, state-of-the-art products, services, and vendors that help to provide a world-class experience for students, parents, and staff at AISL Harrow Schools. They will also collaborate with the Senior Health & Safety Manager to ensure that schools comply with relevant policies and address identified issues with timely remedies.Reporting Line:

Reports to the Associate Director of Operations and works with the Group Director of Operations for tasks and projects when needed/as assigned.Key Responsibilities:School OperationsBe familiar with Group Policies, Harrow Standards, and local/national regulatory requirements to advise schools on operational matters and provide relevant support.Support schools in implementing relevant procedures, policies, and Operational Management Framework, monitoring our operations against requirements and KPIs to ensure operations are safe, compliant, and provide a positive and supportive learning environment for our students.Partner with the Procurement Manager and support school-wide projects such as uniform, and partner with the Senior Health & Safety Manager on the implementation of the H&S framework.Performance and Standards EnhancementSupport the Group Management Framework (FM, Catering, Monthly Report, Annual Register) implementation through training, regular catch-ups, and audits to ensure operational standards and quality from a Group perspective.Identify areas of enhancement through Monthly Dashboard, audits, schools’ feedback, and surveys to students and parents to inform strategic objectives and relevant KPIs for Schools and Services Providers.Partner with the Procurement Manager to factor KPIs in agreements/contracts to secure service providers’ satisfactory performance throughout the contract.Monitor industry trends and best practices to propose new products or replace existing products and services that match and exceed Harrow Standards and provide a world-class experience to our students, parents, and staff at cost.Set up New Schools/ProjectsLiaise with Group Operations, Construction, Business Development, GA, Admissions & Marketing Team, and Education Teams to map out the set-up plan and project manage the successful launch of a new school or project.Partner with the Procurement Manager, Construction Director, and GA to ensure all procurement is done in phases and based on timelines agreed with all key stakeholders. Equipment and Set-up (Blackbox, lab, auditorium, music rooms, etc.) will comply with local regulatory requirements, Harrow Standards, and Group policies, fitting the educational purposes endorsed by the Education Team.Budgetary ResponsibilitiesAssist in proposing set-up budgets for new schools and manage/track their high efficiency utilization.Assist the Finance Team and Head Office budget holders with budgeting and forecasts.Review and approve (when appointed) operational budgets for existing schools.SustainabilityBe the champion of Group Sustainability Initiatives and work with the Group and Schools to implement actions from the Group’s 5-year sustainability plan.Work closely with all AISL schools to monitor their progress and provide support.Research new technological products and services in sustainability, drive their adoption, and test the results before widespread use.Identify KPIs, actionable items, timelines, budgets, and resources required for successful implementation of sustainability initiatives. Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics in alignment with Harrow standards and corporate objectives.Any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Group Director of Operations and COO for Group Operations, new schools, and existing schools.Job Requirements:Candidates with at least 5 years of solid operational and management experience in ESG and sustainability in multiple geographies are highly preferred. Candidates with a proven track record in Digital Transformation are a plus.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement programs, procedures, and systems, manage details, and engage internal/external key stakeholders.Strong project management and supervisory experience required; displays the ability to manage strategic operations and influence direct and indirect reports to achieve the desired outcomes.Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communications in both English and Chinese.Education: Bachelor's Degree required, a Master’s degree is preferred.Work location: base in Hong Kong office and willing to travel.The successful candidate can expect a competitive package including a salary that reflects the importance of the position, a performance-related annual bonus, and many further benefits.AISL Education Group is committed to the safety and protection of children.
