Senior Manager, IT & Operation (General Insurance)

My Client, a global General Insurer, is looking for a Senior Manager to lead their IT, PM and Operation team. You will lead a talented team, implement innovative IT governance and security strategies, and collaborate with senior management to align technology with business goals. If you're passionate about optimizing IT processes, operation and fostering innovation, please apply nowIT Governance & ComplianceDevelop and uphold IT governance frameworks and policies.Ensure adherence to Allianz Group standards and regulatory mandates.Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.Operations ManagementDrive productivity and customer satisfaction in local insurance operations.Manage project pipelines, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.Ensure compliance with Allianz Group standards regarding outsourcing, business continuity, security, and data privacy.Security ManagementLead the creation and implementation of security strategies and protocols.Monitor for and respond to security incidents and breaches.Collaborate across departments to maintain robust data protection and cybersecurity measures.Mentor and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals.Promote a collaborative and innovative team culture.Establish performance objectives and conduct regular assessments.Operational ExcellenceStreamline IT operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Oversee IT budgets, resources, and project management.Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations and IT departments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Preferably 8+ years of experience in IT operations, specifically in governance and security within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.Proven leadership experience with a strong focus on team management.In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Seniority level
