As a Business Development Executive specialising in restaurant partners hunting for Deliveroo, you will play a vital role in expanding our network of restaurant partners and driving growth for our organisation. Your primary focus will be identifying, prospecting, and securing partnerships with new restaurants to join Deliveroo. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet targets and develop strategies to enhance our market presence. Responsibilities: Utilise various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, zone visits, referrals, and attending industry exhibitions or events for networking, to reach out to prospective partners. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential restaurant partners. Develop and execute effective strategies to convert leads into successful partnerships. Negotiate terms and agreements with restaurant partners, ensuring both parties' interests are met. Provide onboarding support and guidance to restaurant partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with our platform. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to restaurant partnerships. Requirements: Proven experience in business development or sales roles within the food delivery or related industry with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Candidates with experience in retail, FMCG, or grocery sectors is a MUSTStrong understanding of the restaurant industry and the dynamics of the food delivery market. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with restaurant partners. Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented approach. Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
