Business Development and Account Manager The role will be pivotal in driving Harnest’s growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities in key market segments (lingerie/underwear, sportswear, workwear), and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role focuses on leveraging Harnest’s core strengths in premium threads, trims, elastics, and packaging solutions to expand market share and meet commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets. Work collaboratively with senior leadership and production teams to align offerings with client needs and market trends. Provide continued feedback on pricing structures, sales tool requirements and market/customer insights to help the business continue to build. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with tier 1 manufacturers and apparel/interior brand sourcing houses. Act as the main point of contact for client accounts, ensuring sales, satisfaction, renewed orders and retention. Work collaboratively with Harnest's Brand Ambassador network to accelerate client success. Market Expansion: Represent Harnest at trade shows, seminars and forums from time to time as required with the intention of expanding company awareness, building networks and generating new business leads. Suggest, and once approved implement, new market and lead generation tactics to successfully grow the business. Product Promotion and Upselling: Showcase Harnest’s product portfolio, including elastics, sewing threads, covered yarns, and packaging solutions. Highlight the value of Harnest’s offerings, including true value for high quality, fast production timelines, and ESG alignment. Operational Efficiency: Follow closely each account to ensure timely, efficient and effective delivery of specifications, quality standards, and production briefs for Harnest. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products and orders for customers. Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in B2 B sales, within the textiles, interior or apparel industry. Experience with trims and accessories an advantage. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel regionally or internationally for client meetings and trade events. Strategic thinker with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Performance Metrics: Monthly revenue growth. New client acquisition and retention rates. Expansion into new markets and regions. Achievement of long-term brand nomination agreements.
