Reporting to Global IT Director, this role will be responsible for delivering information technology services to the business across multiple locations and countries in Asia, including providing recommendations to enhance the business capability through the use of IT and implementing projects as assigned from the Group IT function to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Key Responsibilities: Partnering with business functions to provide solutions and services to enhance business capability. Manage and analyze current IT systems, applications, and resources. Plan and manage implementation of new equipment and services. Planning and controlling change to ensure minimum business risk and downtime. Responsible for development and implementation of a scalable regional IT structure and team to support the expanding business requirements. Day-to-day management and development of the IT resources across multiple locations in Asia. Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency while working within the defined Group IT guidelines. Build and maintain good relationships with business users, constantly assessing user feedback and making necessary improvements. Able to agree priorities and timescales with the local management teams and Group IT to effectively manage resources and expectations. Plan, develop, and implement IT policies and procedures. Accountable for ensuring all IT services are delivered and comply with current legislation, standards, and best practices. Job Requirements: Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Minimum 10 years solid experience with at least 5 years at managerial level. Experience in project management (including planning, budgetary control, people management), managing corporate-wide, regional large-scale projects, and exposure to the retail sector is an advantage. Leadership & stakeholder management is highly preferred. Experience of managing/running a 1st & 2nd line support function as well as network and infrastructure experience. Knowledge of IT support functions including Help-desk, Storage Principles, Windows Services, and software/Networking. ERP implementation and application management experience preferable. Experience of managing Windows and Mac operating systems and hardware an advantage. Ability to agree on business requirements and convert them into technical solutions where appropriate. Strong customer orientation, with good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a MUST.#J-18808-Ljbffr
