Regional Sourcing Manager / Pricing Specialist (Telecom) - CK

Client Description Greater China based Telecom carrier Job Description Regional Sourcing Manager Responsibilities
• Responsible to source and evaluate the suppliers, maintain vendor profile for commercial sourcing decisions, negotiate and build partnership with new vendors
• Prepare management reports for business intelligence in sourcing, market price trend and vendor performance evaluation
• Assist in RFP responses and evaluate customer target price and maximize the order profit
• Interact with regional carriers and understand the local product offerings i.e. IP, MPLS, IPLC, IEPL, IDC and review the commercial terms of agreement and supplier price book
• Make quotation to frontline pricing or sales managers and assist in order placement including sourcing and ensure solutions are deliverable by provisioning team.
• Manage and control the procurement chain, prepare cost saving reports and continuously reduce the overall cost in both regional and vendor dimensions
• Manage regional suppliers and vendors at frontline; take lead in negotiations and MSA/SLA signing under the support from Vendor Management team and evaluate each supplier and maintain company's vendor database Responsibilities
• Provide customer quotation tailored to various technical products and solutions
• Work with sales team and customers to facilitate the quotation process and product delivery
• Manage the sourcing & vendor's performance to ensure effective supply chain
• Work closely with regional carriers to maintain effectiveness of IP, MPLS, IPLC, IEPL and IDC product offering
• Process RFP compiling with internal standard and conduct necessary price negotiation with customers and suppliers to enhance profit margin
• Prepare business intelligence reports include but not limited to sourcing, market pricing and vendor performance Job Requirements Regional Sourcing Manager Requirements
• Degree holder with solid experience in telecommunication industry and sound knowledge with carrier vendors' workflow
• Understanding of profit margin analysis, underlying product cost elements, tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong customer-orientated with ability to work as a team player
• Detailed oriented, well organized, initiative and able to work under pressure
• Excellent analytical problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of both written and Spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Occasionally travel is needed Requirements
• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• 3 years of technical support experience, preferably in Telecom industry
• Sound knowledge in profit margin and underlying cost analysis
• Excellent in communication, problem solving and negotiation
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and native Mandarin#J-18808-Ljbffr
