Our client, a Chinese Bank, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position.Job DutiesOversee the daily operations of the regulatory reporting team.Responsible for reviewing and compiling statutory financial reports in accordance with HKMA reporting guidelines.Ensure HKMA regulatory returns are prepared accurately and timely.Liaise and coordinate with relevant departments regarding Banking Returns and other related reports.Regularly review and update Banking Returns procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory parties.Set up, maintain, and improve the financial compliance system and management information systems to ensure the financial data provided meets the requirements of HKMA and the Banking Ordinance.Monitor movements related to the Bank’s portfolio of assets and liabilities.Perform other ad-hoc projects and investigations.Job RequirementsDegree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting qualifications are definitely an advantage.Minimum 10 years of banking experience in financial regulatory reporting.Substantial knowledge of Basel III and HKMA regulatory requirements.Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Oracle or Hyperion applications will be an added advantage.Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with strong analytical and report writing skills.Hands-on experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and compliance issues.Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded, and strong problem-solving skills.Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Manager position.
