Position Description Support the team in Hong Kong in relation to the following key areas on CLSA Asset Management and Principal Investments businesses Key Areas of Responsibilities Handle full set of accounts for entities under asset management and principal investments. Prepare monthly Financial Resources Rule returns (Type1, 4, 9) and ensure strict compliance under SFC regulations. Oversee financial controls & reporting, financial analytics, regulatory financial compliance (client money & FRR), and audit & taxation matters for the related business lines. Analyze the financial positions and performance and provide value adding information to the management Advise on accounting and finance related regulatory matters for new products & business flows Evaluate and implement robust internal controls and efficient accounting process Communicate and work closely various functions in the organization Brainstorm and implement ideas to improve the work flow & output quality using technology Handle ad-hoc financial enquiries and assignments Requirements Degree holder CPA or equivalent qualification Minimum 5+ years relevant experiences in financial services/ financial reporting Familiarity with IFRS and FRR reporting. In-depth knowledge in accounting, financial products, regulatory requirements and industry operations. Proficiency in use of computer systems including MS office, ERP systems such as SAP Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment High level of work ethics, professional integrity and compliance of internal control policies Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
