Accounting & Finance System Migration Project Specialist | Law Firm | HKG Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong SAR, Hong Kong Job Openings Accounting & Finance System Migration Project Specialist | Law Firm | HKG About the job Accounting & Finance System Migration Project Specialist | Law Firm | HKG A leading international law firm, renowned for its award-winning suite of top tier legal services and global reach, is seeking a Project Data Migration Specialist to help implement a newAccounting & Finance System. This role would be full timefor a contract period of up to 18 months. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external Accounting & Finance (A&F) and IT teams to implement and migrate its existing data to another cloud-based state-of-the-art accounting and financesystem that encompasses a wide range of A&F functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, trust accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will lead and manage the implementation and rollout of the new system and other financial applications across the firms three offices in the region. Key responsibilities include consolidating and ensuring the accurate implementation of customisation requirements from key stakeholders, coordinating data migration, testing, training activities, overseeing application integration processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing data migration, supporting data reconciliation, designing test cases, and reviewing testing results to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will track project status, timelines, and milestones, present regular updates to the firm'sleadership, and collaborate with global and local IT teams to resolve functional issues. The role also involves preparing operation manuals and other documents, arranging user training, managing change requests, and identifying andmitigating risks associated with the cloud implementation. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines, professional accounting qualifications, and at least 10 years of relevant project management and accounting experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment. Strong communication keyholder and project managementskills as well as a high fluencyin English and Chineseare essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
