About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Bank of China's Legal & Compliance and Operational Risk Management Department as a Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Bank's operations and activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Responsibilities include formulating annual compliance review plans by referencing risk assessment results; conducting regular/thematic compliance reviews on an ongoing basis; coordinating or performing regulatory self-assessments; keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and changes/developments of business and operations of the Group; acting as leader of compliance reviews which involve planning, use of review methodology/tools, field work, reporting of issues; and maximizing the application of technology for identification of irregularities and sample selection.
Requirements include being a degree holder or above in Banking and Finance, Accounting or related disciplines; having 5-7 years of internal control, assurance or audit experience with banks or financial institutions; possessing knowledge of banking products, services and relevant regulatory requirements; displaying good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility and adaptability to changes; and having a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
