Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the drafting and preparation of contracts and agreements for execution by Interactive Brokers and its clients.
  • Organize and file legal documents and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to assist in various matters.
  • Help investigate disputes and regulatory inquiries.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports as needed.
  • Maintain and update legal and case files, including tracking amendments to contracts.
  • Assist in drafting various legal documents.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external legal counsel.
  • Manage invoice processing and related tasks.
  • Perform additional duties such as gathering documents from internal systems and supporting special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or current student at a recognized university, or equivalent experience as a paralegal.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with preference for experience in the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated maturity, self-motivation, and independence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and a positive team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong skills in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) being advantageous.
