Strategic Business Development Manager for High Net Worth Clients

The Dah Sing Financial Group is a leading financial services provider in Hong Kong, offering a wide range of banking and insurance services through its extensive network of branches. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Head of Segment & Product Management and be responsible for driving strategies to enhance the quality and profitability of high net worth segments within the Bank. Your primary goal will be to lead the team in implementing effective business and marketing plans to achieve robust business performance across customer base growth, relevant assets under management, banking relationships, and profitability.
This role encompasses segment management for HNW customers within retail banking and private banking segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement acquisition, growth, and retention strategies for HNW customers, focusing on achieving business targets while improving customer experience.
- Analyze customer behavior and needs, referencing market research and customer profiles, to propose actionable initiatives aligned with defined value propositions for strategic sub-segments, encompassing customer acquisition, cross-selling, service upgrades, loyalty enhancements, and retention.
- Liaise closely with product and channel teams to cross-sell suitable products and services meeting target customers' holistic needs, ultimately uplifting profitability of the HNW segments.
- Plan, implement, and monitor sales activities, marketing campaigns, and customer events, conducting evaluations and reviews to ensure efficient use of approved marketing budgets.
- Collaborate with counterparts to drive the development of user-friendly and cost-effective sales and service platforms, enhancing customer experiences at various touchpoints.
- Provide guidance and coaching to subordinates as required to ensure they possess the necessary competencies to perform their jobs effectively.
- Support marketing and loyalty programs for private banking segments.
To succeed in this challenge, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Degree holder or above in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in prestige customer segment marketing, and in banking field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
