The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Materials Characterization and Preparation Facility (MCPF) team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the operation and maintenance of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and cryogenic related instruments in MCPF.
- Provide instrument training and application service to internal and external users.
- Collaborate with researchers and scientists to characterize materials properties under high magnetic fields and cryogenic temperatures.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in physics, materials science, or a related field of science and engineering.
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Electron Microscopy, materials characterization under high magnetic field and cryogenic temperatures, or research is an advantage.
