About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Officer, Client Onboarding Analyst to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our Institutional Client Onboarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless client onboarding experiences for our Private Bank clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Private Bank Client onboarding activities, including account opening, documentation review, and structure review.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams from different regions to facilitate account maintenance requests.
  • Conduct credit document reviews, including guarantee, charge, ISDA, and relevant credit documents.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of all tasks, supporting the business in client onboarding and account maintenance.
  • Engage with Business, AML, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to support client onboarding, including implementation of new processes and providing guidance and subject matter expertise.
  • Work in partnership with Regional/Global teams to implement new policies and guidelines, developing consistent processes and best practices.
  • Embark on continuous on-the-job training or end-to-end product knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in Client Onboarding is preferred.
  • Proven ability to make effective and timely decisions.
  • Highly motivated, persistent, and able to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk environment.
  • Fast learner, strong attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Capable of multitasking and eager to learn in a fast-changing and challenging environment.
  • Consistently able to anticipate and respond to customer/business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate partnerships across business regions.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with people effectively and confidently across all levels.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to strive under pressure and open to work staggered hours/weekends/public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and written/spoken English and Chinese.
