Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to key stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Manage diaries for departmental heads, ensuring timely scheduling of meetings and appointments.
  • Act as key contact with overseas offices, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements for team heads.
  • Provide administrative support to departments, including new joiner on-boarding, exits, and other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support for overseas visitors, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist in marketing or departmental events and other projects as required, utilizing strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Prepare regular executive, business, and department reports, including Asia Exco, AMHK Exco Board, AMHK, and HGIF Board Reports, as well as BCM coordinator for BCM plan.
  • Act as Fire Marshal for each stakeholder team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Arrange travel arrangements, including budget, flight, and hotel reservations, as well as transport requirements, with approval from CEO and Team Heads.
  • Process Fusion expense claims for team and department heads, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Participate in team meetings, demonstrating professionalism and collaboration, and actively contribute to departmental projects as required.
  • Ensure consistent usage of resources and systems, and maintain awareness of group policies regarding data protection, FIMs, and other relevant areas.
  • Complete all mandatory risk control trainings, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and compliance.

Requirements

  • Fluent Cantonese and English language skills are essential; Mandarin is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in assisting a diverse team is favorable, with evidence of ability to prioritize tasks when faced with competing timeframes.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines, with competence in using Microsoft Office required.
