We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Underwriting and Credit Bureau Management team in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer experience, and ensuring robust risk management across 11 markets in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Underwriting and Credit Bureau Management team in Asia, driving business growth and improving customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy transformative lending originations journeys with instant decisioning and onboarding capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, maintaining a robust and efficient control environment.
  • Manage a team of 9 FTEs, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of work experience in Credit Risk, Underwriting, Originations, Credit Lifecycle management, or Lending Transformation.
  • Past experience in Retail Banking, with a focus on Credit Operations/Underwriting, Credit Risk, Banking Operations, Product Management, Analytics, and Data Management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and influence senior management.
  • Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering good customer outcomes while managing multiple, complex dimensions across the credit process cycles.
  • Ability to frame and deconstruct ambiguous problems, drive execution, and delivery.
