About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security professional to join our team at Shangri-La. As Assistant Vice President, Information Security, you will be responsible for leading our information security function and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise-level information security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of risk management methodologies to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that information security is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and policies.
  • Familiarize yourself with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including PCI-DSS, and ensure that our company is in compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure that our information security needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends, technologies, and threats, and implement appropriate measures to protect our company's assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer science, information security, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in managing information security functions for a sizable company.
  • Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, or equivalent.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) desirable.
