Housekeeping Operations Specialist

Oversee the management of room assignments, ensuring accurate reporting of room status, identifying discrepancies, and prioritizing cleaning tasks for departing guest accommodations.
Collaborate with Housekeeping leadership to facilitate daily operations. Serve as a key point of contact to synchronize efforts among Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. Document and address issues related to room discrepancies in coordination with the Front Desk team. Prepare and allocate room assignments to Housekeeping personnel. Maintain and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms diligently.Ensure that all vacant dirty rooms are cleaned promptly and manage urgent cleaning requests, including those from the 'Do Not Disturb' list.
Complete all necessary Housekeeping documentation.Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; participate in safety training and certification programs.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information; safeguard company assets.Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; proactively address guests' service requirements; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.Foster and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving shared objectives; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.
Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents with accuracy and completeness. Utilize computer systems to enter and locate work-related information. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
