Assistant Manager for Client Services

Position Overview: As an integral part of our team at Dah Sing Bank, you will report directly to the Team Head and play a pivotal role in establishing, nurturing, and expanding client relationships. Your primary focus will be to collaborate with bankers to fully understand clients' goals and effectively cross-sell our diverse range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Team Head and Relationship Managers in their daily operations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to evaluate their needs and risk profiles, enhancing their relationships with our bankers.
  • Engage in client meetings alongside Relationship Managers to gain insights into relationship management practices.
  • Contribute to the identification of target markets, analyze client requirements, and assist in the development of marketing strategies and product enhancements.
  • Prepare necessary transaction documentation for credit approvals, ensuring compliance with internal deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough research and gather information from various sources to inform investment decisions.
  • Support Relationship Managers in tracking investment progress and portfolio structure, providing timely reports as requested.
  • Facilitate account openings, prepare follow-up documentation, and issue general instructions in accordance with timelines set by Relationship Managers.
  • Process credit approvals and manage investment and deposit transactions promptly, acting as a liaison between clients and operational teams.
  • Deliver updated market information to clients and Relationship Managers as needed, adhering to established timelines.
  • Attend client meetings to document minutes and generate summaries for client records.
  • Execute transactions on behalf of clients or alert Relationship Managers/clients to any discrepancies based on account documentation.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree holder.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Proven experience in servicing high net worth clients is essential.
  • Possession of professional licensing qualifications on HKSI LE Papers, 1, 7 & 8 and IIQE Papers 1-3 & 5 or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and banking products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and dedicated.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
