About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Assistant to join our team at Prudential plc. As a key member of our Investment Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the operation manager and ensuring compliance with various internal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular exercises on procurement processes for service providers and subcontractors, preparing monthly reports and filings for internal compliance and regulators.
  • Coordinate communications between fund managers and investment colleagues for asset transfer implementation and support investment operation queries from internal finance teams.
  • Set up operational workflows for new funds or portfolio restructuring, including account opening, and handle KYC requests from fund houses, service providers, and derivative counterparties.
  • Review Investment Management Agreements and other legal documents with service providers, facilitating legal reviews and executions.
  • Coordinate Investment Committee agendas and support the production of governance reports, including incident reports, for Investment Operations and other information in the management information pack.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification in CFA or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment operations, preferably in an asset owner, investment bank, or asset manager.
  • Experience in operational and account set-up for cash and derivative funds, as well as knowledge of different financial instrument settlement cycles and structures.
  • Strong collaborative skills and project management skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
