Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director, Business Development to join our team at Sun Life Financial, Inc. This role will be responsible for leading one of our agency distribution teams to manage, promote, and drive all sales and servicing aspects of our MPF business to achieve assigned targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performance team to foster a culture that drives individual and team success.
  • Strengthen relationships with key agency partners and provide streamlined, one-stop solutions with whole-account management mentality.
  • Provide targeted support to a growing base of MCI agents to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed in MPF business.
  • Expand the distribution channel by increasing productivity and the number of productive agents in assigned agencies.
  • Foster a team culture centered on collaboration, responsiveness, and excellence in service.
  • Assist in designing and implementing sales & marketing strategies into contests/campaigns or challenges.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • University Degree, Major in Marketing / Business Admin preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Excellent written/verbal presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin a must).
  • Strong PC skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Able to work both in a team and independently.
  • Excellent influencing and collaborative abilities with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate strategy into plans and actions.
  • Knowledge of the pension market, products, distribution channels, and clients.
  • Extensive agency sales experience.
  • Knowledge of MPF regulation.
