The Opportunity

Mattel is seeking a skilled Contract Accountant to join our APAC Sourcing Finance team for a 1-year contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling accounts receivable, customer deductions, and liaising with internal and external parties to resolve outstanding accounts and disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable, customer deductions, and resolve outstanding accounts and disputes
  • Prepare and analyze AR and deduction reports
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end closing for account receivable function
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a multinational company
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, with skills in Pivot tables and V-lookup
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial System is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
