Financial Analyst for Accounts Receivable

The Opportunity:

The Mattel APAC Sourcing Finance team is seeking a Contract Accountant with a focus on accounts receivable for a 1-year contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, resolving disputes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable, customer deductions, and collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve outstanding accounts and disputes.
  • Prepare comprehensive AR and deduction reports, analyzing collection trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures related to account receivable functions.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc assignments and reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or related fields.
  • Qualified member of CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, preferably from MNCs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel, with skills in Pivot tables and V-lookup.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial System is a plus.
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Responsible, independent, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Remarks: This contract is for 1 year with potential for extension.
