About the Role

Carter's Inc. is a leading North American apparel retailer catering exclusively to babies and young children. As a Color Management Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that strives for excellence in color consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a color filing system, including submissions, strike offs, and bulk production records.
  • Communicate color comments to vendors via PLM systems within specified timelines for development and bulk production.
  • Create and maintain approved lab dip to color master cards, dispatching approval records to offshore and ATL offices as needed.
  • Support the Colorist in managing mill vendor self-approval production colors and submit monthly workload reports to the Color Manager.
  • Review and approve color mainly in 1st Bulk and Shade Band based on the company's color tolerance standard.
  • Operate Datacolor machines for color reading references and support Spectro readings regularly.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree in Textile Technology or Textile Chemistry.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with basic understanding or knowledge on dyeing/printing processing.
  • Proven experience approving color and passing Munsell Hue 100 Eye test.
  • A basic understanding of color theory, terminology, and print technique.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and attention to details with strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
