Job Title: Public Relations Specialist for Arts and CultureCompany Overview:

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join their team. As a key player in the district's development, this role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, promoting the district's vision, and driving engagement through effective communication.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for arts and culture to fill this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing stakeholder engagement initiatives, preparing corporate communications materials, and providing support for events and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance the West Kowloon Cultural District's brand reputation;
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases, lines-to-take, presentations, and background briefs to key stakeholders;
  • Support the production and delivery of the Authority's Annual Report, including translation and proofreading of corporate communications materials;
  • Organize corporate and media events, familiarisation visits, and event logistics;
  • Liaise with internal key functions, government organisations, Legislative Council, political groups, media, and professional institutions;
  • Manage the database of corporate stakeholders and provide general office logistic support;
Requirements:
  • A recognised university degree or above in journalism, communications, public relations, or related disciplines;
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, event management, media relations, and corporate communications;
  • Hands-on experience in preparing communications materials, implementing corporate events, and stakeholder engagement programmes;
  • Solid experience in coordinating and liaising with external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical mind, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese language proficiency;
Estimated Salary Range:

$HKD 55,000 - HKD 70,000 per month (dependent on qualifications and experience).
